Katy Perry’s new song 'Rise' now has a brand new video directed Paul Gore, featuring the singer dragging a huge pink parachute across a stunning landscape.
The new track is is not currently intended to feature on Perry’s next album, but Katy says that it’s a song that has been “brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface”.
‘Rise’ has instead been released to coincide with the opening of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, due to launch its opening ceremony in the Brazilian city tonight, and has been adopted as the official song for NBC’s coverage of the event.
